Steve Savage is a piano/organ/multi-instrumentalist living in downtown T.O. who keeps his fingers busy playing with the Tin Star Orphans (http://www.tinstarorphans.com) and Great Dane (www.myspace.com/greatdanetoronto)
He has a particular fondness for Latin grooves, jazz improv, electro\classical fusion and good ol' R'n'R. When he isn’t playing he is attending live shows, and teaching himself to play the trumpet, musical saw or whatever else he can get his hands on.
Mr Savage is a graduate of the Mohawk College Jazz program (Guitar), with 20+ years of experience on the keys. Steve has lent his Savage brand of funky-smooth magic to several different bands, and is looking to achieve a higher level of professional success while making new connections in the industry.
Current projects include scoring for film, television and theatre as well as playing at local live music events over the summer. Most recently Steve has arranged the Glockenspiel for, and is performing in the Red Light District's production of Georg Beuchners 'Woyzeck'.
